This layout is of (from left to right) my oldest DS, my DH, and my youngest DS all of when they were 8 months old. There is hidden journaling where you see the "family clip" to the right that reads: We always talk about how the both of you don't look exactly like your dad or I, but as you can see in these pictures if you look close enough you will find it's all in the subtle features!
I used three different distressing techniques on the layout:
1. the first is I used my Heidi Swapp distressor tool on the edges of the background cardstock
2. I used the Heidi Swapp distressor tool around the patterned papers and then added Tim Holtz green distressing ink on the edges
3. then the third is that I sanded the entire cardstock and sanded it down to so thin in two areas to make holes and added orange paper on the back so that it shows through. I then took my stipple brush and added green distressing ink to it and "pounded" it on the entire top of the cardstock, adding more of some in some areas and less in others.
Ingredients: Basic Grey Archaic patterned papers, Bazzill Kraft Cardstock, American Crafts Felt Thickers, K & Co. Crimped Alphas, Basic Grey Dasher Alpha Stickers, Seven Gypsies Family Paper Clip, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink.
